  1. Website visual presentation

The display on the new website update is not a visually friendly.

Your previous layout was far easier to read and interpret.
It was concise, easy to visually scan and identify elements.

Sorry but really not a fan of the new layout at all, and would love to see it in a similar format as the previous layout.

  2. New website layout.

The new web layout is really hard work. When you click onto a project having a box on the right hand side pop up is not user friendly. Info is not displayed clearly requiring alot of scrolling down - it is so much harder to interpret the info. Can we have the info displayed on one ll screen view like before. Previous set out was much better.

  3. Require the H-C's to break down the Document package into reasonable sized portions.

Recently we have received packages containing over 500 documents. The package appears to have all the information for all the possible subbies. I'd suggest that the majority of the docs are not relevant to all subbies. Down loading of such a monstrous package does create Data problems at this end. As a subbie we know what information we require, but cannot easily access it.

That is a lot of docs! We do encourage builders to break their documents up into trade packages, but sounds like there’s room for improvement, thanks for the feedback.

    Hi Richard,
Thanks for the feedback, we endeavour to keep our awarded information as accurate as possible. If it’s helpful, the builder’s themselves are the ones that mark projects as awarded. Hope that’s helpful!

  5. Confirm Tender Results are Correct before posting

I appreciate the emails that show contractors that have won or lost tenders, however most results offered have been incorrect. Most companies called after getting your notifications have informed me the information was incorrect.

    Hi Joe,
It’s actually builders themselves that mark their own projects as ‘awarded’ or otherwise. We try to keep you informed with what we know.

  6. stop requesting feedback

Receiving daily requests is not making me want to complete it.

    Hi Paul,
We value all feedback at EstimateOne, many suggestions from our users have helped us create a better experience on the platform, however we do understand you have a busy schedule and we hardly want to disrupt your day.
We apologise if you feel we have asked for feedback too often, we usually touch base with our customers every 3 months or so, so daily requests should not be happening. We’re happy to have a look into your account and see if something unusual is causing this problem. Othewise, thank you for getting in touch.

  7. Who has won a project

Better follow up of projects to indicate Awarded please.

There is data for 'not successful' but this doesn't seem to be followed through to 'Awarded' which is critical.

    Hi There,

Thanks for passing on the feedback. The coverage of Awarded work information is a key focus area of our business. The status updates actually come from the builders themselves, which is something we actively encourage them to update. We are also always working to bring new builders onto the platform for better coverage as well.

Please feel free to reach out to us if you have any feedback, or if you’d just like to discuss in more detail.

  8. Update archived tenders on watchlist

It would be useful if tenders on my archive watchlist were updated when the successful builder has marked the tender as 'awarded'. Once marked as awarded, these tenders should move to the recently awarded watchlist. It would save a lot of time if this would be automatically update rather than subbies having to manually sorting the archived watchlist when tenders get the go ahead.

We appreciate the feedback. We are constantly looking to improve the look and feel of EstimateOne, our text legibility is something we will keep in mind in the future. Thank you!

  11. File viewing on tablet.

Enable smart phone/tablet, document/addendum file viewing. I can only see half of the page.

We understand the frustration with viewing documents on mobile. We’re continually developing the ability to view EstimateOne on a wide variety of projects, so keep an eye out for ongoing improvements.

  12. The layout of the awarded section has changed recently. It was better the way it was before

It would be better to list the projects awarded in order. the current way makes no sense.

Hi there, this was actually a slight hiccup on our end that has now been fixed. The awarded work table is back to sorting by the date, apologies for any inconvenience.

  13. Watchlist Emails - Do not include updates on new closing dates that have already passed.

I received a Watchlist update email on Monday 29 Feb. This email contained an update for two projects who's closing dates had been extended to 26 Feb. It is not helpful to receive this information 3 days after the extension ends.

Thanks for the feedback, we understand that getting notified that late is not helpful. We are conducting a larger review of the Watchlist emails and this feedback will be taken into consideration.

  14. Better research to stop Duplicates

Often when searching tenders there are a number of duplicates of the same tender with slight variations of names. There also seems to be often discrepancies in the trades required between them. More care and consideration needs to be given when these projects are posted into the system.

    Thanks for your feedback Julie,

Projects listed on the noticeboard are mostly listed by builders, so sometimes there can be some duplicates. We’ve now made it easier for builders to also add themselves to existing projects to avoid duplicates. We also have fallback mechanisms where our team pro-actively identify duplicates and merge these with existing projects. We do have to be careful and make sure watchlist information on both projects is carried over and that the projects are actually identical. I hope this gives you a sense of what we’re currently doing to prevent duplicates. We’ll also help educate builders on the importance of listing the project correctly and look at ways that we can make EstimateOne help with this too.

    Cheers,
    Gilad
