Better research to stop Duplicates
Often when searching tenders there are a number of duplicates of the same tender with slight variations of names. There also seems to be often discrepancies in the trades required between them. More care and consideration needs to be given when these projects are posted into the system.
Thanks for your feedback Julie,
Projects listed on the noticeboard are mostly listed by builders, so sometimes there can be some duplicates. We’ve now made it easier for builders to also add themselves to existing projects to avoid duplicates. We also have fallback mechanisms where our team pro-actively identify duplicates and merge these with existing projects. We do have to be careful and make sure watchlist information on both projects is carried over and that the projects are actually identical. I hope this gives you a sense of what we’re currently doing to prevent duplicates. We’ll also help educate builders on the importance of listing the project correctly and look at ways that we can make EstimateOne help with this too.
Cheers,
Gilad

An example of this is Kenmore Baptist Church. There are 5! different versions of the same job, each with different contractors, trades and due dates. It also does not even flag the trades I am pricing to a contractor that is not on your list. For a paid service the research is very poor.
