Upload Errors when loading quotes or tender documents

Upload Errors when loading quotes or tender documents

When uploading quotes or tender documents, you may experience an Upload error.

We recommend taking the following troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue and contacting our Support team if you are unable to complete a file upload.

Note that not all steps are necessarily required, and engaging your internal IT support if you have it can also be helpful.

  • Clear your browser cache, and hard-refresh the page. Note that clicking the "Refresh" arrow on your browser bar is not a hard refresh. Here's how you can clear your cache through a hard refresh depending on your browser:
Google Chrome
  • Windows users - hold the Ctrl key and then press F5 on your keyboard
  • Mac users - hold the Cmd and Shift keys and then press R on your keyboard
Firefox
  • Windows users - hold the Ctrl key and then press F5 on your keyboard
  • Mac users - hold the Cmd and Shift keys and then press R on your keyboard
Safari (Mac)
  • Go to Safari > Empty Cache, or hold the Opt, Cmd and E keys on your keyboard
Internet Explorer/Microsoft Edge (Windows)
  • Hold down Ctrl and then press F5 on your keyboard
  • Try using a different browser (e.g. Chrome)
  • Ensure you are uploading files directly from your computer's hard-drive, and not from a USB or from a networked server
  • Disable any browser extensions that may be running - the easiest way can be to try uploading from a new incognito window
  • Check that your system clock on your computer is up-to-the-minute accurate
  • Try loading a single small file (under 5 MB) sometimes a network firewall can start blocking and limiting file sizes, even if it has historically allowed for larger file sizes
  • Disconnect from your wifi network and tether your phone, then attempt the upload again. This helps to determine if the issue may be with your network
  • Attempt to complete the same process and upload the same files on a different machine to help determine if the issue is with the current device configuration
If none of the above resolves the error, pleas contact our Support team on 1300 705 035 or support@estimateone.com
