Allow Builders to issue multiple RFQ's at once
It would be good when issuing RFQ's for Construction Stage projects if I could issue multiple RFQ's at once. This is a really powerful feature available at tender and it would be good to have added to Construction Mode.
19 votesThank you for your feedback. We can understand that issuing multiple RFQ’s would save a lot of time. We will look at ways to improve this experience.

Notify when subcontractors have downloaded tender docs from another builder for the same project you are tendering.
If subcontractors download documents for a project you are tendering from another builder they will often not respond to your invitation. This means we will have no idea if they are intending to quote, without contacting them directly. A new function that lets you know if a subbie has downloaded docs from another builder for same project would be really beneficial to know who is and isn't quoting.

Multiple 'closing' dates different for various trades
When a project is live, we would like the ability to progressively call on tenders with various different closing dates. Currently there is only one closing date available. Option to select different closing dates for different trades would be great.
15 votesWe will be considering this idea later in the year. For the time being you can issue packages in stages and update the closing date before each stage.

Make Subcontract Lists available to the Builder
It would be good as a builder to be able to access the subcontractor database (contact details) to assist in issuing tender packages for job that have been awarded to the builder.
This would allow a wider range of unknown subcontractors to be able to be contacted by the builder to tender won work and establish new relationships
11 votesThanks for putting your support behind this idea. We are currently investigating how we can better connect Builders with Subcontractors at tender time. Once we have a better idea of how we might deliver this functionality we will be in touch to discuss it with you. Cheers, Gilad.

Pevent Subcontractors from being able to access documents after their RFQ has been marked as "Lost"
Subcontractors who are marked as "Lost" still have access to the package they were sent. Whilst you can prevent this from happening by "Revoking" the invitation, this could be simplified in a single step. Also the Subcontractor has already been marked as "Lost" and will no longer appear in the table once their invitation is revoked.
2 votesThanks for your feedback. This is a great suggestion, we will look into how RFQs are managed once a contract has been awarded.

Collapse / Expand all under documents
When uploading / reviewing documents could you add a 'Collapse all' and 'Expand all' button? currently when viewing documents you have to manually collapse / expand each sub-folder. On projects where there are many documents in many folders this becomes quite cumbersome - particularly when uploading new revisions issued in an addenda.

Indicate to a specific date when a subcontractor declines to quote.
A similar system to the document download indicator would allow us to monitor responses more effectively.
1 voteThanks for your suggestion. We understand that this information would help you monitor your responses more effectively. For the time being you can see this information in the Audit Trails.

Add the ability to search by contact name when using the 'Invite Single' feature.
With recent upgrades when doing a single invite to tender we can only search and see the company name. It would be good to see the contact names show up while searching the companies.
EG if I was to search G James I would have up to 10 different G James company profiles for different regions but when doing a single invite I can not see the contact name to know which of the 10 G James profile to select for the tender. Sometimes it is easier to search for the contact name rather than the company in this case.
2 votesThanks for the suggestion. We’ll be looking in to how we can improve the invitation and responses step in the future, and will take your suggestion on board. As we want it to be as easy as possible for you to find companies and contacts as quick as possible in the invitation step.

Add additional button options to the email invitation
Currently there are three options 1) Access Documentation 2) I already have documentation 3) I don't wish to quote this tender.
Replace # 1 with 'Review Documents prior to Accepting Invitation', and delete # 2 because the invitee may not have received all relevant documentation by another builder, and add 'I wish to quote this tender.'
1 voteThanks for your suggestion, we will investigate how we can improve the email in the future.

Allow Builders to indicate which arm of our company is tendering a project
Can you please add a way for us to indicate which part of our company is tendering a project on the project details page. This is to represent which arm of the company the subcontractor should deal with (ie. Construction, Maintenance or Bespoke).
1 voteThanks for your feedback.
Currently you can do this by writing which arm of the company is tendering by writing this in the Project Description when addidng a new project. We will look into how we can make this clearer for special cases like yourself that have seperate arms in the future, and keep your feedback in mind.

Add "I'm no longer quoting" links in Broadcast Messages and Addenda Notifications emails
Links should be added to Broadcast Message and Addenda / Revision notification emails that allow the subcontractor to indicate they are not going to be pricing the tender, just like in the initial "Invitation to Tender" email.
6 votesThanks for putting your support behind this idea. We can see how allowing subcontractors to update their quoting status more often will boost your response rates.
