Your Guide to Creating Your Company Profile

When it comes to quoting jobs, there's more than price to guide a contracting decision. We want to help you stand out to builders and suppliers, by showing off your experience, suitability and qualifications; improving your chance of winning the job. 

Your Company Profile showcases a snapshot of your business, displaying key details about your company, and highlighting a short bio and project history. It's visible to Builders via our Subbie Directory, and to Suppliers via our Supplier Connect feature when they match your trades for any projects added to your Watchlist as 'Interested, Quoting or Quoted', or when you respond as 'Quoting' on invitations. Completing your Company Profile

You can get to your Company Profile from the Settings tab, then clicking Company Profile. Please note, you may need to have your account administrator fill these details in, you can check who your administrator is via the Team tab. Company name:


This is the name of your business. If your business operates in multiple states you may wish to include your state in the name. For example: EstimateOne (VIC).


Company Logo:


We recommend including your company logo, visual branding can help you to stand out from the crowd and be more memorable to builders. Click the logo or 'upload logo' image to upload an image straight from your computer. 


ABN:


Including your business ABN on your EstimateOne account will help builders easily verify your business. This needs to be a valid number, as an error will occur if it's incorrect. 


Contract Size and Employees:


Adding a contract size and number of team members helps the builders know the scale of projects you are capable of working across. The Contract size refers to your piece of the pie, and not the total project value. Enter a range here. Select the size of your team from the dropdown menu. 


Location:


This will display your state, and is taken from the Head Office location in the Office section at the bottom of your profile. Click the three dots to edit the location if it isn't correct. You can also add multiple locations by clicking 'Add', but your location will only be updated based on your Head Office. 


Trades:


Select as many trades as needed here, this will inform builders of what services your company specialises in. If you can’t find a trade that fits your business, let our customer experience team know. In the meantime, try adding a trade that best matches and consider using the About Us section to showcase your specialties.


Categories:


Select the types of projects you work on here, you can select as many as needed. This helps the builders understand the kinds of projects your company specialises in.
 

Contact:


You can select a user to be the primary contact for builders and suppliers to reach out to for any queries. Be sure to keep your contact details up to date for this section!


About us: 


This is the space to make your profile really shine. Here you can explain your business story, who’s behind it and what makes you unique. You can also use this section to showcase specific services that set you apart from competitors or any special technology or equipment that could be beneficial for their project needs.


Project History: (Upgraded feature only)    


Your project history gives builders an overview of your experience, you can also include a description of the works completed and any additional information that may be relevant. Think of it as a chance to highlight your accomplishments. This information helps builders better understand your capability. 

Adding project history is simple, you can search for completed projects that you have worked on in EstimateOne’s database of past tenders or you can add a project you’ve worked on outside of EstimateOne by scrolling to the Add New option at the bottom of the search results. You can also add a project that you're currently working on and set the completion date to the estimated month in the future, this is an option for large, ongoing projects to make sure they are reflected on your profile.

Head to Settings - Company Profile - Profile settings 





You can control visibility of your Company Profile for Builders and Suppliers here. 



Watchlist Visibility - Suppliers (Upgraded Feature only):

We will only show your profile to Suppliers that match your trades, and only on projects where you have marked the project as 'Interested, Quoting, or Quoted', or when you respond as 'Interested' on an invitation, as part of our Supplier Connect feature. Keeping this set to 'Supplier Accounts on EstimateOne', will make you discoverable to matched suppliers, and you can read more about the Supplier Connect feature here

Set this to 'No One' if you prefer not to be discoverable to Suppliers.


Subcontractor Directory - Builders (Upgraded Feature only):

By listing your business in our Subcontractor Directory, you are discoverable to builders and this increases your chance of receiving invitations directly from tendering and awarded builders for projects that match your trade and experience. 

Set this to 'No One' if you prefer not to be discoverable to Builders.

It’s important that you keep your profile active and up to date. Having full and accurate details can open up more opportunities for work as builders will be able to quickly gain an understanding of who they are potentially working with.
