Subbie Company Profiles FAQs

Subbie Company Profiles

What’s the purpose of Company Profiles?

Company Profiles gives you access to real-time Subbie information and their capabilities to better understand new Subbies you’re engaging with, right from the get-go.

Think of it as a digital business card that gives you the power to make smarter decisions. It’s dynamic, up-to-date and will be shown to you when Subbies request documents, respond to RFQs and submit quotes.

What information is included as part of the Subbies Company Profiles?

In this first release, you’ll be able to access the following information when viewing Company Profiles:

  • Company details (inc. ABN) & contact information

  • Workforce size

  • Description of their business

  • Contract sizes they are capable of completing

  • Trade specialisations

  • Category of projects they work on

Where can we see Company profiles?

Company Profiles can seen on public projects when clicking on the Subbie’s Company Name (marked with a green Profiles tag) where it is linked to a request. This can be seen on the following pages:

  • Document Requests
  • Invitations and Responses
  • Quotes list

Whose Company profiles can we see?

In this first release, you’ll be able to access Company Profiles of Subbies that aren't yet in your address book.

What happens when you add a Subbie to the Address Book?

There is no change from how Subbies are currently added to the Address Book.

Do we have to pay for access to Company Profiles?

This first release is free and included as part of all Builder subscriptions.

What if a Subbie Company Profile is incomplete?

Our team is actively working with Subbies to complete their new Company Profiles information to provide the best experience for both Subbies and Builders.

What’s coming?

We have an extensive list of upcoming features and enhancements in the works, see what’s coming below:

Project history (coming soon)

Subbies will be able to showcase completed projects they’ve worked on in the past and demonstrate their relevant trade experience.

Address book integration (coming soon)

When inviting subbies to tender on a project, you’ll be able to tap into an address book hosted on EstimateOne. Until now this has been static and details can become out of date. Having a Subbie Company Profile on EstimateOne ensures you’ll always have access to the latest info in real-time.

Business verification status (coming soon)

Subbies will soon have the option to be verified by EstimateOne indicating that the subcontractor that you’re dealing with is legitimate and proves they meet the minimum standard of compliance.

Certificates and licenses (coming soon)

Have direct access to trade licenses and certificates housed within the Subbies Company profile, letting you know if you’re dealing with a fully qualified organisation at tender time.
