What happens when I change a timeframe on my letting schedule?

Timeframes ensure that enough time is left for key activities like Subbies pricing your package, comparing Subbie prices and procurement lead times. You can edit your timeframes in a few different ways and this article will clarify how changing dates will impact impact current and future packages.

Before You Create A Letting Schedule - Default Timeframes

The default timeframe that you set on your "Schedule Settings" will be used when a package is created for that trade. Default timeframes are only used for new packages but they can be edited after your package has been created. If you need help populating your default timeframes please get in touch with our support team.

Manually adding a timeframe

Populating a timeframe will calculate new milestone dates where no previous date existed. This will mean you don't have to think about "when" you need to get information back, instead you can focus on "how long" you want to give your Subbies.

Updating an existing timeframe

Updating an existing timeframe will adjust the date to the left. The "Start on Site" date will not be changed when you update another date or timeframe. We know that your "Start on Site" date is fixed on your construction programme and we don't want to be changing this.
