Specification Insights uses your saved Speci-Finder keywords to aggregate on-demand specification insights about the trends in performance of your brands, products and competitors in the market presented via a suite of easy-to-interpret charts.
Where does Specification Insights data come from?
Specification Insights utilises the information from all the public commercial tenders listed on the EstimateOne platform, based on the information provided to EstimateOne by builders.
How do I gain full access to data for Specification Insights?
Specification Insights is available as part of the Professional Plus license. Professional Plus gives you complete access to both our Specification and Market Insights products inclusive of 5 quarters of data including the quarter to date. How does Specification Insights work?
To get started with Specification Insights, you'll first need to make sure your keywords have been added in 'Speci-Finder'. To add keywords, click on 'Create Keywords' within the Specification Insights tab. Once selected you will be prompted to add your 'keyword' and 'keyword type' by brand/competitor/products/ other.
Once your keywords have been added, by accessing the 'Specification' tab under 'Insights' you'll be able to go ahead and setup the criteria for your charts comparing up to 4 different keywords. Select a 'Keyword' and 'Location' and select 'Update' to populate the charts for 'Specification Trend in Tender Project Volume' and 'Specification Trend in Tender Project Budget.
Once your report is generated, you can click through to view the projects within your report parameters.
By clicking into milestones within each of the charts, surface the list of projects specific to each of the underlying insights across a single view.
Who in my company can view Specification Insights?
Any existing EstimateOne users will be able to view Specification Insights if your company has access. You can also add additional users at any time at no extra cost by clicking on the 'Invite to Insights' button within Specification Insights.
