Give Procore projects permission to connect to EstimateOne
Give Procore projects permission to connect to EstimateOne
Why do I have to do this?
In Procore, projects must have permission to connect to any third-party integration. For example: with EstimateOne for document management.
Ask a Procore Admin user to complete the following to ensure all of your Procore projects can be found when connecting with EstimateOne.
If you use more than one Procore company account, you need to do the following for each one.
1. Create a Project Permissions Template
Select Project Permissions Templates, then under the button + Create Project Permissions Template, select Project (Global) - Assignable to All Projects in the menu.
Name the Project Permissions Template. For example: "EstimateOne document management". Then select Confirm.
2. Configure the permissions
After confirming, change the following permission levels on the page that appears:
- Core Tools > Admin: Admin
- Core Tools > Documents: Standard (do not select any square checkboxes)
- Project Management > Drawings: Standard (do not select any square checkboxes)
- Project Management > Specifications: Standard
Then Save the template.
3. Apply the Permissions Template
Next in the Company Tools menu, select Directory.
In the table, find the row with a Name that looks like "estimateone-xxxxxxxx", then select Edit.
On the new page, scroll down to PROJECT SETTINGS, and select Select Default Template.
Select the Template you created earlier, then select Apply.
Back on the previous page, tick the first checkbox under PROJECT SETTINGS, then Save at the bottom of the page.
You should now be able to connect all Procore projects in this company to EstimateOne.
