Show the contact's position when sending invitations
Could you please add the contact's position next to their name on the selection page for sending invitations?
Some subcontractors include their project manager's contact on Estimate One, but we only want to send quote invitations to the estimating team, because the site staff won't care about the invitations.
When sending invitations, only their names are displayed, so we can't quickly tick the people who actually does estimating.
If there is not enough space to show their positions, remove the phone number column, because when sending bulk invitations, their phone number is the last thing we need to know.
3 votesHi Kai, thanks for the suggestion. Providing you with more information such as this is something that is currently on our radar.

Search Surburb category removed - please bring back.
Regarding your recent website update - I strongly do not like that the Suburb category has been removed. Please consider a reinstall.
I search for jobs by Suburb to find out all builders tendering, as projects are often listed by 2 or 3 different names and it helps to identify duplicated projects and all of the tenderers.
13 votesHi Pam, thanks again for your feedback and time. As discussed, I’ve flagged this with our product manager. We are currently working on a fix for this! ! Kind regards, Morgan.

Email alerts for construction types and Builder new tenders
When a new tender appears under a type of construction (childcare, aged care, petrol station, etc) an email alert is sent to us. this can possibly read off our filter set (but needs a type filter).
Same for selected builders when a new tender is posted.6 votesHi Filicia, notifications such as this is something we are currently looking into and improving the way we suggest projects. For the time being, we recommend keeping an eye out for the Thursday newsletter which gives you an update on new jobs for your selected trade.

Extra options on drop down tab
Current drop down tab has , interested, quoting, quoted. Would be great to have more options so that it is easier to manage the status of the quote as a contractor, such as have documents, awaiting documents, etc etc
8 votesHi Derek, we are currently exploring the ways the Watchlist and Invitations and Requests tabs work. This will be one of the options that we will be considering.

List subcontractors that are pricing tenders and list subcontractors that have been awarded work
It would be most helpful if I could track which subcontractors do work for particular builders, therefore when a contract is awarded I can go to those subcontractors and offer them a price.
Additionally when a project is at tender a list of which subcontractors are quoting would also be helpful97 votesHi Gillian,
Thanks for this feedback, much appreciated. We can see how it would be useful information for you. We’ve got this in our pipeline, we’ll be working away to get this available for you soon!

Mobile friendly Version of the website.
The website is quite cumbersome when viewed on a mobile device. Is there the ability to create a mobile friendly version of the site?
7 votesHi Caitlyn,
Thanks so much for the feedback. Being mobile friendly is something we have talked about a lot, but we have never been sure how many people would use EstimateOne on mobile – or how they would use it. What tasks in particular would you like to be able to do on mobile? -
Add provision for raising RFIs to Builder. Request for additional documents could also be included.

[Visualisation] Adding bookmark, note, or flag functions for project control for team.
When a whole team is doing quotation, members of a team always need to check if a project is in the process of quoting by a different member. If a flag function can be added to mark who is doing which project, and which project is not worth quoting for the team, a team can save a lot of time and really takeoff projects.
2 votesHi KS, something similar to this is something we are currently looking into. For the time being, a work around could be to mark the project off at ‘quoting’ and leaving a note against the project letting the team know who is currently working on the quote.

Provide contact details of the CA once the project has been awarded
Would be great if the CA's details were provided so you don't have to go through the estimator once the project has been handed over to Management team.
65 votesHi Eman,
We understand that being able to contact the delivery team once a project has been awarded is important. We are currently reviewing the best way to share this kind of information in a timely fashion. Thank you for your suggestion! -
Keep the status consistent across all tabs and update all when a status changes
The status should consistent across the different tabs and updated as any status changes for Tndrs, Awds, WL, Inv & Rqts. e.g. common set of status options and if any status on any tab is altered then the change is reflected everywhere.
9 votesHi, we are currently looking into how the Watchlist and Invitations & Requests tab should interact. If it is alright with you, we’d love to get in touch to ask a few questions?

Rename the zip file of the download package to contain Project Name, Builder and Quotes Due Date
I do this every time I download a package. Would be good if it happened automatically.
6 votesGreat suggestion, thank you for sharing this with us!

Keep same page when scrolling through the builders
When scrolling through builders, as soon as you go back a page it currently takes you back to page 1 of the builders names. Would be much better if it simply went back to the page where the currently viewed builder was situated.

please make the "Watchlist" and the "Invitations & Requests" work more smoothly. Often they have conflicting, or outdated entries.
they each have their own purpose but the should work concurrently with each other.
8 votesHi Eamon,
Thanks for this feedback, it’s something we’re looking into at the moment. We’re investigating how we can give you more control and visibility over how projects relate between your watchlist and invitations and requests. If there’s anything specific you would like to see, please feel free to let us know. -
Is it possible to have the tool bar with (tender, awarded, watchlist ect) locked in position? this would help when we scroll down the page to

Allocate names against projects to see who is looking after the project
When you have multiple people under the one company name working within estimate one, would be good to allocate names to particular projects on the invitation & watchlist screens.
30 votesThanks for the suggestion! We are looking into how to give teams greater control over their watchlist and invitations, including allocating them to users within company accounts.

Include the contact phone number of the Builder on the tender details when document requests have been approved

8 votesHi Mirella,
Thanks for the feedback, we are currently reviewing how best to surface contact details during the tender phase. -
'Tender won' knowledge - allow E1 users to advise E1
Let your users advise E1 that a tender has been won by a contractor... ie provide an option for a user to communicate to E1 the market information they have been provided. E1 would then have the opportunity to prompt the tender manager or contact them directly. The policy could be to have 2 weeks to confirm as often further negotiations may delay announcement.
9 votesHi Jordan,
This is a great suggestion, we will look into what is required to enable our members to provide market information. -
Access Finishes Schedules first
Most of our work is through Joiners. To see if Solid Surface materials
have been specified we have to request the Joinery Package and then view the Finishes Schuedule. The Builder then asks us to quote the whole package which is annoying and time consuming for them as I'm only looking to see if
solid surface has been specifiedIt would be great of we could access the Finishes Schedules first or if Projects could be tagged
9 votesHi Sue,
Thanks for the suggestion. We will look into the best way to make this possible and meaningful to you. Stay tuned!
In the meantime, we suggest using the “specification search” to look for “Solid Surface” or specific brands which will search all documents uploaded to EstimateOne for you. -
Allow me to quickly send EOI's to Builders with a click or 2
BCI recently came out with the following feature: "You can now send Expressions of Interest to active Builders on projects you're interested in with just two clicks. Save yourself the time and effort of sending EOI's to each individual Builder via email and simply select the Builders you'd like to send to on TenderManager and submit your EOI with ease."
Although I can express Interest by downloading docs on E1, that only goes across to the builder whose docs I am accessing. it would save a lot of time if I could then send an EOI to the other builders…
30 votesThanks for the suggestion, we are currently investigating the best way to enable subcontractors to submit an Expression of Interest to all active builders while not promoting a culture of spamming.

include a CRM system for sub-contractors
a simple CRM System that draws on the significant information already contained within the Estimate 1 system. to allow the various users under 1 company to pool the information they have gained when completing individual quote's for the various builders and its estimators. using the estimate 1 systems can allow headings to be quickly populated from the information already held in estimate one.
4 votesThanks for the suggestion! We are currently reviewing how we can support workflow management for subbies and suppliers. We don’t have a timeline for this feature but it’s something we appreciate would help manage your projects. Stay tuned!
