Draft Packages
Ability to save all packages in draft and issue at different times.
We may prepare all packages in the document matrix at once but maybe awaiting specific documents to some packages such as a BoQ which needs to be issued with a particular package and may be sent at a later date as opposed to current situation where all packages are issued at once1 voteHi Nicholas, thanks for your feedback. At this stage this isn’t on our radar. What we recommend is sending out your packages in a staged send out. Feel free to get in touch if you’d like a run through of this.

Automatic email win/loss/withdrawn
Hi Team. is it possible to have an automatic correspondence be sent to all the contacts invited to a projects when we update the project as won/lost or withdrawn
6 votesHi Aidan, this is something that isn’t currently on our radar. We understand that each head contractor like to deal with these situations differently, and creating a one size fits all automated email wouldn’t work. As a workaround we suggest sending correspondence to all invited subcontractors once you’ve updated the project.

Flag Invitation Errors via email or within my account
It would be great if I could be notified that there are email Errors within the Invitations & Responses of a Project I'm working on. Perhaps a message each week to flag if there are any email errors, or an alert banner within the project in my account.
3 votesHi, we try to limit the amount of automated email that we send out. As a work around, we recommend filtering by response status so you can see all the email errors at a glance.

Full trade names are getting cut short in the "Trades Required" stage of setting up a new tender.
When starting a new project, at the "Trades Required" stage, extending the trade name to display full trade name as opposed to cutting it short will reduce selecting the incorrect trade, ie, Balustrade with SS wire, Balustrades - aluminium..., Balustrades - Stainless... and so forth.
1 voteHi Mark,
Thank you for your suggestion We understand that it would be frustrating when your trade names are cut short. With only so much screen space we have to limit trade names to a certain length.
We recommend tightening your trades names in the ‘trades’ section of your Address Book to help avoid this problem. Thank you again for getting in touch. -
Small change to add contact to tender
on the invites and responses screen when you click on 'Add Contact to Tender' you first have to click in the box before you start typing a company name. I suggest you change it so that you can just start typing rather than having to click in the box first.
1 voteGenerally you will need to click the search box before typing on any web browser. Apologies there isn’t a way around this at the moment.

Automatically notify Subbies when we update the status of a project to "Lost"
Currently we manually send correspondence to all Subbies notifying them that we have been unsuccessful with a tender.
It would be good if EstimateOne could automate this and prevent us needing to manually select Subbies to send this correspondence to.
6 votesThanks for your suggestion. This is something that has been thought about a lot at EstimateOne. We have made the decision that we will not be notifying subbies by email when you mark a project as lost on EstimateOne. This is due to the fact that we already send a large amount of correspondence to subbies and don’t want to overload them with emails, which would reduce their likelihood of opening them. However, we are committed to looking into how we can make this information clearer in App, and prompt your subbies towards this information when they use EstimateOne.

Include Subcontractors with the status of "Quoting" in automated Addendum Correspondence
Subbies who have indicated they are quoting should receive automated Notification of Addendum / Revision emails. These Subbies have expressed interest in the project and in turn would want to know when new documents are added.
They might not download documents from the Builder but they would still want to know when a new document affecting their package is released.
1 voteThanks for your feedback and we do appreciate the suggestion. The main reason we haven’t added this feature is because in this case we can’t be sure what documents the subcontractor has received and therefore what documents they may be missing.
The best way to manage this is to directly contact the subcontractor and get them to download a package from you, then they will be included in addenda notifications.

Make 'Project Value' an optional field
This is not a piece of information we have available to us when we first add the project to EstimateOne.
The only mandatory fields should be the closing date and the project description (which we can take from the preliminaries specification document).
1 voteThanks for your suggestion. The Project Value is a required field in the Project Description as we need this information to find you subbies who are a good fit for the project. The subcontractors understand this is just an estimate of the budget. Without this estimated value we are unable to point relevant and capable subcontractors towards projects that are right for them. We don’t want to waste your or the Subcontractor’s time if they are unable to work on project of a certain dollar value. Trust that makes sense, and happy tendering.

Send a daily summary of "Requests" we receive from Subbies even if there are no new requests
This will remind me to regularly review and approve these requests.
1 voteWe appreciate your suggestion!
We won’t be progressing with this right now as we try to limit the number of emails we send out. We acknowledge that we could be doing a better job of alerting you of these requests in the application, and we are committed to investigating this further. -
Add the ability to add a different logo for construction RFQs
This would be a good way of indicating that the RFQ is for an awarded project instead of a tender project.
1 voteThanks for your feedback, we understand that you are wanting to have more distinction in the RFQ to show it is awarded rather than an open tender. The fact a project is Awarded is included in the subject of the invitation.

Allow "standard" users to export lists to excel/pdf and not just Administrators
Currently this feature is visible to all Users however only works when done by an "Admin". It would be great if all Users had the ability to export these lists.
4 votesThank you for sharing your feedback. We understand that all users being able to see the export button is frustrating. However, due to security reasons we will only allow administrators to export this information. If you need to export this information, please speak with an account adminstrator.

Provide an option that allows me to send correspondence without a link to access documentation.
All correspondence sent via EstimateOne includes a link that Subcontractors can use to get their documents.
I want a way to optionally not include this link so that Subcontractors do not download new documents.
1 voteThanks, at this stage we don’t see any benefit in this feature so it will not be progressing

Thanks for your suggestion. We intentionally limit the number of automated emails we send your subcontractors so as no to deter them. We suggest if you want to let them know you have withdrawn or are withdrawing then you issue some correspondence from the Invites and Responses page.

Restrict editing the Address Book to only Administrators
Limit who can edit existing entries and add new entries in my Address Book so that my address book remains well organised.
6 votesThanks for your feedback. Whilst this is something we have thought about in the past, we have decided that we will continue to allow all members to edit the Address Book. We understand that this can lead to a lack of organisation or loss of data, and if you’re concerned by this please get in touch and we can give you the ability to have an audit trail for any changes in the Address book.

Allow me to choose a User of the account and have their contact information used in the "Estimator Details" section on the "Project Details"
Allow me to choose a User of the account and have their contact information used in the "Estimator Details" section on the "Project Details" page.
With the last update, the Estimator boxes are now automatically uploaded with the name of the person entering the project onto E1. I find this frustrating - as I am a coordinator, and not an actual Estimator, which means that unless I am vigilant, my name can end up being the point of contact - even though the Estimator is the person who sends out the invitations to the various trades.
2 votesThanks for your suggestion, we made this change as an overwhelming amount of builders asked us to autofill this information to save them time when adding a tender. We understand that this might require you to keep a eye on the project details when tendering on the behalf of another Estimator, however, if you make a mistake you can always edit this information in the dashboard. Whilst we won’t be adding a drop down menu right now, we will keep your comments on board when we look into making the project details section better for you. Thanks again.

"downloaded" option if the filter
include a "downloaded" option in the 'filter response status" section
4 votesThanks for your feedback Kelana, the best way of recording this information is to write a note.

Can you make the order of the "Recently Viewed Contacts" the way it used to be?
The "recently viewed" contacts that are visible when press the arrow next to "Address Book" tab are currently ordered from most recent at the bottom to oldest at the top.
Can you change it so that the most recently viewed contact is on top instead? This is how it was in the old version of EstimateOne.
1 vote‘Recently viewed’ is no longer available, but we will be making lots of improvements to how you manage your contacts in the Address Book in the coming months.

Provide facilities for Consultants as you do for Trade Contractors
Provide facilities for Consultants as you do for Trade Contractors
1 voteAppreciate the feedback. EstimateOne is currently committed to bringing Head Contractors and Subcontractors together in the construction industry, and we still believe there is more to be done. We can see the value in supporting consultants, however we could not provide a timeframe on when that might be.

Notify all of addendums/revisions
Subcontractors who have not downloaded documents should still be notified of any changes that affect the package they were sent.
Subcontractors who have been marked as "not quoting" are the only people who should not be notified of an Addendum or Revision affecting their package.
7 votesWe intentionally limit the numver of automated notfications we send to your subcontractors so as not to overlaod them. However, you have the ability to manually issue Correspondence and Notifications of Addenda to your subcontarctors from the Invitations and Responses page.

Status Selector "hidden".
In the "Invites & Responses" page the "STATUS" drop down box selector sometimes can't be fully seen as it drops down below the web browser border.
Can this be fixed?1 voteThanks for your suggestion. Unfortunately, in order to support the amount of data displayed in the Invites & Responses page, there is limited screen space available. We recommend adjusting the zoom on your browser, or lowering your computers resolution, allowing for more screen real estate.
