  1. show current tenders by State also not just KM's from my location

    I'd like to be able to view current tenders by state , not just KM's , as Qld is so large , when I want to view tenders in Far north QLD I end up seeing tenders in NSW and VIC when I just want to see QLD only.

    Thank you for your feedback. We are currently looking into surfacing more project-specific information at the All Tenders section of your account. We will take filtering by state into consideration.

  2. Display a contacts position when they appear on the Invite Single tool

    Is it possible to show a contacts position (i.e Estimator) when selecting which contact at the chosen company you are going to invite. This will allow us to quickly determine who is the estimator or contact that is best place to receive out tender invitation.

    Appreciate the feedback, we can definitely see why this would be useful information to be displayed when using the Invite Single tool.

  3. Add a 'Hotel' category to the list of Project Categories

    The Hotel Classification is mainly needed for clarity’s sake. The ‘Other’ option is very broad; it could be railway crossing or a yellow submarine, and the ‘Hotel’ or even ‘Hospitality’ classification is the only noticeable classification that is missing from the dropdown list. A 'Hotel' category can suggest a higher density of shared facilities (pools, spas, gyms, commercial kitchen equipment, etc.), indications of quality and the repetitiveness of particular trades in which some subcontractors find is their bread and butter.

    Great suggestion. We based these categories on market research at the time we created them. We’ll definitely be looking into whether these categories are still relevant and up to date with the industry, and see if we need to add any other new categories as you suggested. Thanks again.

  4. change the view of the active and recent tenders to show the builder’s due date not only the subbies due date

    We usually want to see the builder’s due date as that is what we use to know when we need to submit the tender.

  5. Add a "Preferred" field as an option when I 'Update My Closed Projects'

    With regard to your website on the page where it shows the status of our projects and it has buttons for “pending” “awarded” “lost” & “withdrawn” have you guys thought about having a “preferred” button?

    This will allow us to keep Subbies updated when we haven't won a project but aren't out of the running completely.

  6. Allow me to add companies to the displayed trade when I am searching my Address Book and have filtered to show only a single trade

    When I have filtered to show companies assigned to a single trade (i.e Fire Services) in my Address Book. It would be good if I could then add a company to that trade when I press the "Add New Company" button.

    Often I am searching for a company within a given trade in my Address Book and I cannot see them. I will then go to add the company, however will have to reselect the trade that I want to add that company to.

    It would be good if when I have filtered to show contacts within a specific trade…

    Thanks for your suggestion, we’ll be considering this as we continue to make improvements to the Address Book in the coming months.

  7. Show the "Document Title" for files on the Document Matrix when I update this information

    I have added "Document Titles" for all of the documents uploaded for a newly added tender. When I view these files on the Document Matrix I am not able to see the "Drawing Title" in the table.

    The information in the "Document Title" is useful to me as it allows me to quickly add a document to package i.e the "WALL TYPE SCHEDULE" I know needs to go to all of my partitions subcontractors but instead I am shown this file on the matrix as simply "A005(B)_35-0207.pdf".

    It would be great if the file name could be shown, but once…

  8. Export all of the notes left about a Subcontractor when exporting the Invites and Responses to PDF

    When we sit down to review the tender preparation with management, this report could prove handy to demonstrate – who and when we spoke with a subcontractor. What was said. You may have 5 notes saying he is pricing – in such a scenario, I would believe he is pricing it for us. Just to show the last note where someone declines does not demonstrate how hard we try to obtain a subcontractor quote.

  9. Make it possible to add/change document revision numbers from the document list

    It would be good to be able to edit the revisions of drawings from with the document list. As far as I understand it at this stage if the revision number/letter is not picked up from the document file name when they are uploaded each document has to be opened and edited individually. On some projects this can take a long time.

    We also have a bulk edit capability that I believe solves this problem. From the documents page, select the check box next to the docs you wish to edit. Down the bottom of the page you will see an option for “edit details” which will bring up the bulk edit window.

  10. Include the "date sent" on the Invitations and Responses page

    It would be really good to be able to show the "Date Sent" for invitations that appear on the Invites and Responses page. The first questions Subbies as when you are calling to see if they are quoting a job (that they often won't have downloaded) is "When did you send us the package?". So surfacing this information would be handy as currently you have to go digging through the audit trail.

    Appreciate the feedback. The idea of being able to extract information from documents is something we are looking into. We will consider this as we make additional changes to the documentation step.

  12. Indicate to a specific date when a subcontractor declines to quote.

    A similar system to the document download indicator would allow us to monitor responses more effectively.

  13. Make it easier to select multiple documents on the documents page.

    If I want to move 100 documents from one folder to another, I need to tick 100 different boxes. It would be great if it was easier to select multiple boxes.

    Thanks for your feedback, we understand that this can be time consuming.

    You can select entire folders to move multiple documents at once, and you could add additional sub folders in your tender set on your desktop before adding it to EstimateOne.

    We will look into improving the document management on EstimateOne to make your life easier!

  14. Allow more than 1 contact for the estimator detail settings

    So that the tender invitation will come from the senior estimator and all replies cc in the junior estimator.

    Thanks for your suggestion. We will keep this in mind as we look to make further improvements to our invitations process.

    For the moment, I would recommend a generic email such as “estimating@” that multiple people have access too.

  15. Add a way that we can print out a Subbies correspondence history in relation to a tender

    This will allow us to show a Subbie that they were sent correspondence in the event of a documentation dispute.

  16. Include a list of Addendum that affected a Subbies package in their Audit Trail

    Currently it is impossible to use an Audit Trail to prove that a Subcontractor's package has been affected by an Addendum unless the Subcontractor is regularly downloading documents.

    If a Subcontractor is not notified of an Addendum but a change is made to their package this should still appear on their audit trail. That is if the audit trail is to be considered a record of changes made to the package.

    Often we need to prove to Subcontractors that we have included addendum in their packages even if they chose to only download documents from one of our competitors. Currently…

    Appreciate the feedback. The Audit Trail is designed to be a history of what has happened, if you don’t issue a notifcaton it doesn’t make sense to include this.
    We would recommend issuing addenda notification manually to your subcontractors if this is important.

  17. Better align the filters and columns on the Invites and Responses table

    It would be great if the "Response Status" filter was on top of the "Response Status" column when I review invites and responses.

    Thanks for the suggestion. We understand why being able to filter by response is a valuable features for builders. At the moment you can filter by response status via the drop down arrow and select what you want to filter by. We are looking into ways of improving response management and your feedback will be considered as we move through that process.

  18. Prevent Users with the access level "standard" from being able to edit their email address

    This will prevent them from being able to send themselves an access link to their personal email address in the event they leave the company.

    Appreciate the feedback. At EstimateOne we place the utmost importance on keeping your private information safe. We believe this is a good idea, and we will definitely consider it as we look to make further improvements to account security.

  19. Include the total number of approved requests in the number of "Invites Sent" or "Requests" on the Active & Recent Projects table.

    So that I can see how many invites were sent and how many requests I have approved without having to the view the invites and responses page.
