We will be considering this idea later in the year. For the time being you can issue packages in stages and update the closing date before each stage.

Hi Christine,
Thanks for your suggestion, we are currently looking into surfacing more subcontractor information throughout the EstimateOne application. We will consider your suggestion in our development of the app, thanks for getting in touch.Christine Jenkins shared this idea · -

Thank you for this great suggestion! We know that builders refer to our Invites & Responses often while managing their tender. We also understand that builders leave notes against subbies as a reminder to call them back. So it makes a lot of sense for builders to be able to tag subbies with a reminder to call.
Something we will look into further, thank you for getting in touch.Christine Jenkins supported this idea · -

Thanks for the feedback. We will look into this further as we explore how we can improve address book management.
For the time being, we recommend you create these sub-trades in your address book, such as “Piling – Sheets” etc, and assign subcontractors accordingly. This way, the particular sub-trades will be visible in the Trades step.

Great suggestion, thank you for your feedback John. We can definitely see value in using multiple filters to show or hide particular responses. We are looking into ways of improving how the responses can be better managed.

Thanks for your suggestion. We really try and limit the number of automated responses we issue your subcontractors so as they do not get overladed. However, there could be a way of us helping you manage this better.

I might not always want to automatically send out a date change notification. But if asked first... "You have changed the close date, would you like to notify subcontractors?"

Thanks for your feedback. We understand that this would be very useful for both yourself and the Subcontractors, and that these Addendum notes are not currently available in the invitation.

Thanks for your suggestion. A subcontractor focused Document Register is something we have heard from a couple of different builders over time. It is definitely worth investigating further, and we will keep it in mind as we look to make further improvements to documentation management on EstimateOne.

Thanks for the suggestion. We’ve tried to keep the invites and responses page as simple as possible for you to keep of track of what is happening in the project at a glance. We agree that it would be great to be able to manage your workflow for the project in greater depth in the EstimateOne account, and we’ll be looking into how we can improve the invites and reponse page in the future.

With this option it would be good to be able set subtrades under a main trade heading, so you know specifically what they do, but still have the option to send them the main trade package or a sub trade package. Using the piling example, I am going to send the same package out for sheet piling and foundation piling, but would like to know which sub trade the quote will be for. Whilst some subcontractors do it all, some only do sheet piling and will not be pricing the bored piers as well. I just wouldn't want to wind up with 300 trade packages to fill in the document matrix when often the sub trades will require the same documents.
