Collapse / Expand all under documents
When uploading / reviewing documents could you add a 'Collapse all' and 'Expand all' button? currently when viewing documents you have to manually collapse / expand each sub-folder. On projects where there are many documents in many folders this becomes quite cumbersome - particularly when uploading new revisions issued in an addenda.

Add a status for "re-tender"
I’d like to see a “superseded” or “out for retender” button for status of
project. In this D&C environment we frequently tender the same project 2 or 3 times.
As a consequence, our stats under report success relative to projects tendered.
We may be asked to prepare an Order of Cost tender and then will be asked to submit a new tender based on new documents for a 75% designed D&C tender. If we were then to win this project we would have to make 2 projects as awarded or mark 1 as withdrawn and another as awarded.
2 votesThanks for your feedback. We can understand the need for our builders to have this ability, but we still need to undertake some further investigation to make sure we cater for everyone. We will definitely consider this as we make additional improvements to the product.

Extract drawing numbers from the files that start with: "D", "ECD", "SP", "SW", "DF", "DFS", "DP" & "TMS"
So that I do not have to manually enter these for all of my projects.
1 voteAppreciate the feedback. The idea of being able to extract information from documents is something we are looking into. We will consider this as we make additional changes to the documentation step.

Allow Builders to find Subbies who use EstimateOne instead of just the Subbies in our Address Book
It would be great if we could choose to invite Subcontractors who are EstimateOne members instead of the Subbies on our Address Book
30 votesCheers for submitting your idea. We appreciate you taking the time to post this feedback.

Indicate to a specific date when a subcontractor declines to quote.
A similar system to the document download indicator would allow us to monitor responses more effectively.
1 voteThanks for your suggestion. We understand that this information would help you monitor your responses more effectively. For the time being you can see this information in the Audit Trails.

Add the ability to create a company list of regularly quoting Subcontractors
We would like to be able to create lists based on companies who have quoted for us (on all tenders) over the last 3/6/12/18 months
3 votesThanks for your suggestion. We are currently working on surfacing insights on your subcontractors to help you invite the right subcontractors. This is great feedback and on how you would like to use these inights for us to consider as we make further improvements.

Enable Builders to create lists based on Subcontractors who QUOTED on a previous tender
It would be good if rather than creating a list based on all invitation sent on a previous tender, we could create a list based on Subbies who "Quoted" on that tender. This would allow us to continually invite contacts who support us during tenders rather than everyone we invited.
7 votesWe’re currently working on surfacing subbie insights like this to gelp you at the invitation step. Thanks for the feedback!

Sort documents in the documents table based on the total value of the drawing number
Currently when I upload documents for a project and sort by name the following order appears:
S19 - TYPICAL CONNECTION DETAILS - SHEET 1 (-).pdf
S2 - GENERAL NOTES SHEET 2 (-).pdf
S20 - TYPICAL CONNECTION DETAILS - SHEET 2 (-).pdfIt would be good if S2 was place between S1 and S3.
9 votesThanks for the feedback. There are two ways of managing this.
You can click on “Filename” above the documents and sort this which will order documents in alphanumerical order. Alternatively you can prefix numbers under 10 with a 0. -
Do not add contacts to my Address Book when I approve their request to access documents from the Public Tender Portal.
A contact should still be listed in the "unapproved contacts" in my Address Book if I approve their document request (made from the Public Tender Portal). If they do not price the project they requested we would never want to issue them another invitation anyway, so there is no point in having them added to the address book.

Allow Builders to view all trades at the same time when building a list in the list management section of the Address Book.
I would like to be able to view all companies in the Adelaide / SA list for example all at the same time (rather than by trade only).
2 votesAppreciate the feedback and thank you for bringing this to our attention. We agree that more can be done when it comes to help making lists, and we will definitely take this suggestion on board as we improve Address Book management.

Allow me to import a spreadsheet of contacts directly into EstimateOne in bulk rather than having to add individual entries for each contact
I recently had to add 50 contacts to my Address Book. Getting EstimateOne to do this take a lot of time, additionally individually adding each company (and the associated contacts) would have taken a number of hours. It would be good if there was a way that I could add these contacts in bulk independently of the EstimateOne integration team.
Ideally there would be a way I could upload a spreadsheet of contacts and have these contact / companies integrated into my account.
10 votesThanks for your suggestion, it’s great insight for us. We’ll be working on ways to improve Address Book management over the coming months.

Make it easier to select multiple documents on the documents page.
If I want to move 100 documents from one folder to another, I need to tick 100 different boxes. It would be great if it was easier to select multiple boxes.
1 voteThanks for your feedback, we understand that this can be time consuming.
You can select entire folders to move multiple documents at once, and you could add additional sub folders in your tender set on your desktop before adding it to EstimateOne.
We will look into improving the document management on EstimateOne to make your life easier!

Allow more than 1 contact for the estimator detail settings
So that the tender invitation will come from the senior estimator and all replies cc in the junior estimator.
1 voteThanks for your suggestion. We will keep this in mind as we look to make further improvements to our invitations process.
For the moment, I would recommend a generic email such as “estimating@” that multiple people have access too.

Notify when subcontractors have downloaded tender docs from another builder for the same project you are tendering.
If subcontractors download documents for a project you are tendering from another builder they will often not respond to your invitation. This means we will have no idea if they are intending to quote, without contacting them directly. A new function that lets you know if a subbie has downloaded docs from another builder for same project would be really beneficial to know who is and isn't quoting.

Add another field under 'Update Your Closed Projects'
Currently under 'Update your closed Projects' there are 4 options.
Pending. Awarded. Lost. Withdrawn. Is it possible to add another called 'Project did not proceed'.
Currently we have a project that we were preferred builder but the finance fell through on the client side. So none of the current options really apply to this scenario and will be misleading to our subcontractors.
This is not a one off situation either - we've had several projects not proceed due to financial reasons even through we were the successful builder.4 votesGreat suggestion! We understand the value of tracking project status and we acknowledge that more can be done to do this effectively.
For the time being we would recommend using our “New Correspondence” feature in the Invites & Responses page. This would allow you to quickly issue correspondence to your subbies, updating the status of the project. We will look into adding some additional options.
-
Allow me to post a project with multiple addresses
When tendering a project that has multiple separable portions it would be good if I could add multiple addresses to a single project, rather than having to post multiple projects with predominantly the same documents.
2 votesAppreciate the feedback. We can see why this would be useful for not just yourselves but also the subcontractors trying to price.
-
Allow me to see a Subbies distance from a project on the "Invites and Responses" page after I have invited them to the tender.
This will allow me to see how far a Subbie is from a project after I have invited them. Currently you can only see this information on the Invite Multiple step prior to actually inviting anyone to the project.
2 votesThanks for your suggestion.

Add a way that we can print out a Subbies correspondence history in relation to a tender
This will allow us to show a Subbie that they were sent correspondence in the event of a documentation dispute.
1 voteGreat suggestion, we’ll look into how we can make it easy for you to export this information, as we understand it can be valuable in contract and document disputes. Thanks again.

Include a list of Addendum that affected a Subbies package in their Audit Trail
Currently it is impossible to use an Audit Trail to prove that a Subcontractor's package has been affected by an Addendum unless the Subcontractor is regularly downloading documents.
If a Subcontractor is not notified of an Addendum but a change is made to their package this should still appear on their audit trail. That is if the audit trail is to be considered a record of changes made to the package.
Often we need to prove to Subcontractors that we have included addendum in their packages even if they chose to only download documents from one of our competitors. Currently…
1 voteAppreciate the feedback. The Audit Trail is designed to be a history of what has happened, if you don’t issue a notifcaton it doesn’t make sense to include this.
We would recommend issuing addenda notification manually to your subcontractors if this is important. -
Include the "Company Name" on the printouts of a contacts Audit Trail
When I print out an Audit Trail it would be great if I could see not only the persons name but also the company they are from.
This could probably replace the "Head Contractors" name as it appears on the printout.
1 voteWe’re working on a fix for this, thanks for the feedback.
